To commemorate Rennerdale, Collier Township as the birthplace of the federal Flag Day holiday, the Township Municipal Building is home to an inspiring Veterans Memorial that includes a Flag Plaza. This wonderful setting also includes a waterfall with three koi fish ponds, and a memorial path leading to a restful gazebo.

Veterans Memorial

The most important feature of the site is the inspiring tribute to veterans of all wars that have protected American’s freedoms, and also dedication to Collier’s own police and firefighters.

This breathtaking and remarkable site was built by volunteers from the Collier community.

Hilltop Park located near Nevillewood has a picnic area and a playground. To rent the Picnic area please call 724-693-0780.

Meadow Path

New to Hilltop Park is the Meadow Path, a meandering pathway through 55 acres of existing municipal meadowlands. This path connects Hilltop Park from the Tot Lot to the historic Woodville Cemetery next to the Villages at Neville Park. The Meadow Path is open to leashed dog walking. It is equipped with pet stations, supplying free dog waste bags and a convenient place for disposal.

The Meadow Path at Hilltop Park provides captivating vistas throughout the summer with natural wildflowers and beautiful rolling hills immersed a serene environment.

Located between the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport and Pittsburgh, this large 1,589 acre park will see development in the future as population west of Pittsburgh increases.

Settlers Cabin has the most heavily used of the county’s three wave pools. The location along the major route to the airport makes it accessible, and swimmers from Ohio and West Virginia can easily reach the site. An impressive diving platform adds to the attraction.

Skvarca Park is located in Collier Township’s Cubbage Hill neighborhood. The park features a newly renovated basketball court and a new 16 foot by 16 foot pavilion.

Webb Park has 2 baseball/softball fields. Webb is the location for Collier Township recreation summer camp as well as many athletic events. In the warmer months of the year, Webb Park Pavilion is able to be rented. There are picnic tables, as well as a grill and electricity available at the shelter. Beer and wine are permitted in the Pavilion area only with the appropriate alcohol permit.
