If our Police Department’s phone number appears on your caller ID and the individual begins discussing insurance, insurance quotes, or requests personal information, please hang up and do not provide any information. This appears to be an incident of caller ID/phone number spoofing, where individuals manipulate the number displayed on your phone to make it appear as though the call is coming from the Collier Township Police Department. Please share this information with family, friends, and neighbors to help prevent anyone from becoming a victim. Thank you for your cooperation and vigilance.
