Collier Community Center Temporarily Closed

Collier Township to Close Community Center; Limit Public Access to Township Building

Collier Township Closing Community Center and Limiting Public Access to Public Buildings
Collier Township is taking the proactive measure to close the Collier Township Community Center, 5 Lobaugh St. Oakdale, PA 15071, beginning Sunday, March 15, in an effort to slow the progress of the coronavirus disease. To ensure the safety of all our residents, guests and employees, all programs, classes, meetings, events and private rentals at both the Community Center and Community Room (Municipal Building) are cancelled until at least Monday, March 30. Since conditions are rapidly changing, we will continue to monitor the situation and keep you updated.
Additionally, beginning Monday, March 16th, the Collier Township Municipal Building will be open for business but closed to the public. The Township will still be answering phones, responding to emails, and accepting plan and permit submissions as normal.
Currently, all public meetings are scheduled to continue as advertised.
We will be taking extra care to clean and disinfect each of the closed buildings, as well as the municipal properties. All high touch areas, such as doorknobs and tables, are being cleaned and disinfected regularly.
The Chartiers Valley School District is closing schools beginning on Monday, March 16 until Monday, March 30. All activities and programs are cancelled during that time.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times of uncertainty and ever-changing information. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at: 412-279-2525.

Thank you,

Collier Township
