Currently, the Township Offices are open for business, but closed to the public. Staff is practicing social distancing by working "split shifts" every other day. This allows us to continue to answer phone calls and emails, review permits and plans, pay bills, and provide inspections as normal. We ask that during this time, if you are in need of assistance to dial 412-279-2525 before coming to the Township Building in person. Many of your questions and concerns can be handled over the phone.
Our Public Works department is also practicing social distancing by working split shifts and avoiding interpersonal interaction when possible. They continue to work on roads, storm sewer systems, and maintain our parks as normal.
Our First Responders continue to work as normal with no interruption in service. Police officers are taking the necessary steps to sanitize their equipment and vehicles daily. Fire and EMS remains staffed and ready to assist when needed. Rest assured, if you are in need of police, fire or EMS assistance, we will answer the call.
Our Parks and Recreation department continues to operate, however our Community Center is temporarily closed to the Public until further notice. This includes all programs and reservations. Our outdoor parks and greenspaces remain open for public use, but play equipment and sports courts/fields are now also closed to the public. We urge all residents to maintain a 6-foot distance from others when using these spaces.
