Garbage / Recycling

Garbage should be placed curbside after 6 p.m. on the day before your scheduled collect and no later than 6 a.m. on the day of collection. Recycling is collected in recycling containers provided by Republic Services, Inc. every other week. Check the 2023 Garbage and Recycling Schedule for the weeks that recycling will take place.

New Residents

New residents need to arrange for delivery of their recycling container by contacting Republic’s local office at 412-429-2600. Holidays

Please note: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are considered holidays by the refuse collection service. When these holidays fall on a weekday (Monday through Friday), pick up will be delayed by one day. When a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, pick up will be as normal.

Collection Schedule

Black Bear Way and Grey Fox Circle are private but collected by Republic Services on Fridays.
