Collier Township Municipal Authority

The Collier Township Municipal Authority was created to provide sanitary sewer service to the Township of Collier, and to maintain those sanitary sewer lines already in service. The Authority is managed by a five-member board. Each Municipal Authority board member is appointed or reappointed to a five-year term by the Township of Collier Board of Commissioners.

The authority operates as a separate entity from the Township of Collier solely for the purpose of building and maintaining sanitary sewers. The Authority is financed entirely from sanitary sewer customer’s fees and grant money. No Township tax dollars are used for the operation of the Authority’s sanitary sewers.
